January 25, 2009HAIFRANZ, I'm Back!!So the first thing I see has to be Jamie's new journals/photos on life experiences that involve Anberlin and Between The Trees. Whatever. I'm back, and I'm very much sickly! My throat is swolen and my head hurts so much! I have school off tomorrow (yeah, I dunno either!) and I was planning on going snowshoeing with my mom and (K)Nate, but I'll probably be going to the doctor insstead. I had the same thing last year, it pretty much doesn't go away without medicine. Ahh, anyways. I didn't get back from La Crosse until 2 this morning. I'm beyond exhausted. Me and my friends ate at a place there called Pizza Doctors, and it's ridiculous. They have so many kinds of pizza. There's a buffet, AND, people come around with pizza and give it to you, possibly more frequently than they give you breadsticks at Fazzoli's. It's actually really sad though, you end up eating so much food. Here's the kinds of pizza I had: Cheese, Vegetable, Michelle's Garden (I don't really know what that was. It tasted like the vegetable though), Macaroni and Cheese (The BEST one!), S'mores, Oreo, Cheescake, Skittles, and M&M's. There were other kinds comming, a few including Spaghetti and Meatball, Taco, and Seafood. (Gross!) I wish I could have taken a menu, so I could remember all of the kinds there were. There were more dessert pizzas than regular ones, I think. Otherwise, I'm just overly exhausted, and I'm not too happy about the majority of my finals grades and/or semester grades. :( My exams grades were: Spanish II: C+, semester A- Geometry: B, semester B+ AP Euro: B, semester B Engligh: A, semester A Biology: B, semester A Kinda upset that I got some B's hanging out in my report card. And a C+. I hate Spanish. Well, I guess I'll just continue being sickly, while starting to write the next chapter. I have absolutley no homework this weekend and it's amazing! I'll let you know if I still go snowshoeing, and I'll post some pictures that (K)Nate took!

January 18, 2009EPIC DRIVING STORY.As promised. Actually, I just realized that it's not all that epic. But I'm telling it to you anyways! SO, the original plan was that my mom wanted me to drive to the gas station. Which involved driving on a county highway. I pretty much looked at my mom (after hyperventaling excessively) and said O HAIL NO MOM. NOT HAPPENING. So, mom took me to the gas station, taught me how to pump gas and put air in the tires (FUNNN!), and we drove off to some quiet, residential road. (My mom had to go to someone's house to drop something off.) So, we pull over somewhere in there, do a half Chinese Fire Drill, and Claire gets in the front seat. NBD. And as I'm very (UN)confidently driving at 15 mph (it felt ridiculously fast, mmkay?) my mom says, "Claire, there's a car comming up behind you, don't panic." Are you serious, Mom? No other two words in the entire FREAKIN' English language have the ability to make me pee my pants. I was, like, freaking out. Not to mention, it was snowing. And I'm driving the minivan. YEE-UHH. So, the guy is an ass and drives around me. I like, cried. I'm not quite sure why. I'm very dramatic when it comes to driving. So far, I really don't like it. BECAUSE IT'S SCARY AS FUCK. By now, I've pulled up to (OMG) and INTERSECTION! SHITFUCK! Because 500 cars decided to pull up to this intersection at the exact same time! (Okay, maybe 499. Excuse me for not being precise.) And I was just about on the verge of my head exploding, so I decided to be a complete, obvious, n00b at driving, and waited at the intersection until all of the cars were gone. NICE ONE! My mom was not amused. She drove the rest of the way home. (I was so freakin' relieved =]) Almost. Like, 7 houses away from mine, we switched again, and I drove home. It seriously took me 10 tries to pull into the garage. YAY! Not to mention, I have serious issues because I'm either in the middle of the road, or about to go into a ditch whenever I drive. So now, I pretty much turn down any opportunity at drving, because I really don't enjoy heart attacks. KTHNKS. But I'm scared, and everyone makes fun of me because I'm scared, so it's not going too well. I'm just afraid of staying afraid. If that made sense. Because I don't want to end up being like, 19 and still not having my license because I was too scared. djasl;dkasd'kgl;jas'fkasdlas'djasdksa;dlsad;lsasd;ls;lsd;lsafkgljasdlfkasgasdl;asldas;las DRIVERSEDUMACATIONSUCKS.

January 15, 2009This is what a mental breakdown looks like.SPANISH II: Study packet and do 2 workbook pages. (Not bad). OH, and study for the final. (SHITFUCK, I'm terrible at Spanish.) GEOMETRY: Go over 6 chapters of notes. Not bad. (Then wonder why the HELL I'm getting a B+ after getting a 99, a 97, and an 89 on my last 3 tests.) AP EURO:
ENGLISH: Finish 2 papers due tomorrow (The teacher says it should take me less than an hour. Not bad. But apparently it's just because I have BADASS writing skills. It takes everyone else in my class 3 weeks. I just can't be all ~perfectionist~ when writing every sentence.) Good news: no english final. But I have until next Friday to finish a book and complete a literary anaylsis on it. The teacher says there's no reason we shouldn't get an A unless we slack off. *Phew* BIOLOGY: Finish my dihybrid practice worksheet then start to study for the final. The final review packet that I should have been aware of several days ago...
CLAIRE: Fossen, when do we get our review packet?! FOSSEN: Oh, it's been on my desk for 3 days. The sub didn't tell you? CLAIRE *thinks*: WHAT THE HAIL FOSSEN!? I HATE YOU. At least it's only 91 questions.
This not a journal begging for sympathy. I just need to vent excessively. Sorry for all of the swearing.

January 10, 2009Am I just COMPLETELY crazy?Meet the Millionaires. What are they? A band? No, they don't play any instruments. Singers? No, they don't sing. Musicians? No, because whatever it is they ARE doing, it is in NO way musical. Talking like a whiny bitch over a hip hop beat should not get you to Warped Tour. Am I crazy? What do you think?

January 5, 2009HEY!I'm back! So, I will make a list of my 2008 moments. Very belated, but I was gone over the new year. But first, I just wanted to give you a little fill-in on my NYC experience. Not all went as planned: -I did NOT see Hairspray. It was sold out. I was really bummed because the musical closed yesterday. I missed my last chance to see it. -Instead, we saw Avenue Q. If you haven't heard of it, it's pretty much a very racy Sesame Street in puppet form. It has the potential to ruin your childhood. -I saw the spot where the ball was dropped for new year's eve (no, I did not attend the 'ceremony', or whatever you may refer to it as), and... it wasn't nearly as extravagant as I pictured it. It's quite small, actually. I couldn't believe people stood there all day to see it. -I walked around the entire city, was scared shitless considering I come from a small farm town, even though this was my third time visiting the big apple, (SUPER embarassed OMG to say that I have slight shin splints from walking all day- like whoa, I'm so out of shape!), then ate a fabulous dinner at a fancy schmancy upscale restaurant that probably cost a fraction of my college education. I had fun, for the most part. Continuing, shall we: WOW. Two Thousand and Eight. What a freaking year.
My skin here is when it's the darkest. It was taken in August. LOL. Go back to the first picture now and observe my paleness.
Well, I pretty much look the same in all of the pictures, because SOME OF US don't dye our head of hairs constantly. *coughpaijacough* (I still love you, Paija. It's okay.) WELL, some of the things that happened: - I experienced my first year of high school. - I went on a record breaking roller coaster in Sandusky, Ohio. - I went to tennis camp for the first time. - I joined Buzznet. - I went to my first concert. Then 2 more concerts. I'm slowly gaining experience. - I met a famous person. In a band. His name is Travis Clark. =] - I climbed Mount Everest. (JUST KIDDING!) That's all I can think of at the moment. I wish I could recap 2007 instead, I did crazy shit like sing in the Sydney Opera House, stand behind Niagra Falls, go to Disney World for my birthday.... okay, I'll stop. ALRIGHT. I'm getting started on my homework. First day back sucks really hard. I already got a detention for tomorrow morning. (But I must add, it's my first one since the 8th grade. Give me a break.) I'm THIS close to having enough money for my new camera. I'm so starting one of those 365 projects. I'm getting ideas in my head, like, every 5 seconds. This is a totally random strange story to add to this, but last night at the airport, I SWEAR I saw this guy, and he looked like he was in a band that I'm familiar with! I'm seriously going to like attack Google and see if I can figure out who he is, but he looked like it was very possible. Past me being stereotypical of his tight pants, Vans, and beanie, he (along with the people around him) had a caribeener (spelling?) with keys, normally where a laminate would be if he was on tour....!? I'll totally keep you posted on that. I was so tempted to go up to him and be all... "hypothetically, I might know you..." WOW. okay. I'm done. Homework time! -_- BUT NOT WITHOUT A FREAKING SHOUTOUT TO THE TREE-OHH. I LOVE CAPS LOCK.
