December 21, 2008Okay, so I'm back, but just for a little while...I've got some homework to finish, and I'm leaving in about 30 minutes to go back to my friends, so we can get ready for our choir concert tonight. We exchanged our gifts last night, and man, I'm so stoked on mine. I knew I was getting The Friday Night Boys shirt I asked for, (I got her an Every Avenue shirt, with gazelles on it.. YESSS!) but she also got me a photo/card from FBR that was signed by the FNB themselves. It's hanging proudly on my bulletin board right now. The shirt is sweet, hopefully I can get a pic of it somehow, along with the White Tie Affair shirt I got a while back. I also borrowed 2 of my friend's cds that I didn't have- Want (3OH!3) and Where Myth Fades to Legend (Alesana). Yeah, I didn't have those yet. I'm happy to have them now. Otherwise, I'm kinda, like, sick. I tried so hard not to get infected, but I did. It kinda sucks. Oh well. I think that's it. Love, Claire/musiciscool Ps. Watch She's the Man, and pause it at awkward times. You will laugh your ass off. PPs. What do you all think of the 09 Warped Lineup? My question: is that it, or are they adding bands to it? I'm happy to see a lot of the bands there, but there's some that I was counting on being there that aren't.

December 18, 2008Crazy shit to do before I die.Not like I'm going to die any time soon. 1.) Meet Paramore. 2.) Aquire some BADASS photography skills, then get a BADASS expensive camera to accompany those BADASS skills. Once I have those two, I would like to get a photo pass to a Warped Tour date. 3.) Be that random girl that always sings back up vocals on Jimmy Eat World records. 4.) Get a tattoo. Probably a small, barely noticeable one, though. 5.) Dress up as Audrey Hepburn for Halloween 6.) Go to Alaska, North Dakota, and Lousiana. In one continuous trip. Those are the only three states I haven't been to. 7.) Faint, fall, or stumble and be caught in the arms of a very attractive guy in a very Prince Charming manner.
8.) Meet Paramore. 9.) Play piano in a band. Maybe. 10.) Have a pet pig and name it Louis XVI. And a cow named Marie Antionette.

December 16, 2008Imagine that, I'm pretty gosh darn happy right now!Exactly. I think I'm finally understanding this ridiculous shit we're doing in geometry. Proofs just seem pointless, honestly. We're on the SSS, SAS, AAS, SSA, CPCTC shtuff. I can't even remember all of it. But I feel a little better about it. (I SHOULD, I have a quiz tomorrow!) And remember that 14 page AP Euro exam I might've mentioned a bajllion times? Yeah. I got an A. MY FIRST A EVAHH. WOOOHH! Okay, so with extra credit, and the (3 point) curve, it was a 90 percent. On the brink of an A/B. But it still counts. And considering I get Ds on all of the other tests, I'm pretty ridiculously happy right now. (Telling my mommy was the highlight of my day. Hah. Not really. But I was super duper excited to tell her) I think that's it, though. I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far, I've got some ideas for it, and I'll be wrapping it up soon (I told you it would be short!). Considering it was going to be a oneshot, you guys are SPOILED. You're getting like, four or five chapters. I have to go to bed now. I New default ftw. Check that out. Leave me comments. They make me happy. GOODNIGHT BADASS BUZZNET BUDDIES!!!!!

December 5, 2008'Sup Green Bay!Wow. I never thought I'd ever hear those words being said... by none other than Quietdrive! Such an amazing show. It was a super small venue. Like, there were most certainly less than 100 people there. And I loved it so much, because the band members would just walk around and hang out, and no one was being really fan girly around them. Even though a bunch of scenesters kept screaming "I want your babies!" at least 5 times durring every band. This isn't really a ZOMG journal. I mean, I had fun, but I wasn't really familiar with any of the bands before tonight. I got to meet a lot of people and get some of my merch signed. Overall, it was a good night. First, I went back to the merch table, and I met Mike. He's the lead singer of Treaty of Paris. I was just like "Oh, I don't think I'm buying merch yet, but I just wanted to say hi." And he asked me what my name was, then shook my hand and formally introduced himself. Then, my friend who I went with, called him "Mr. Dude" to get his attention (well, she does that to everyone if she doesn't know their name), and he signed a CD we got for our other friend, then wrote Mr. Dude above it. Then, we got another person in the band (who I later found out was named Phil), who asked for a nickname, and we called him "Mr. Other Dude", wrote 'Mr. Other Dude loves you' on the cd. I ended up buying a The White Tie Affair shirt, it's gray with astronauts on it. And I got the singer and guitar player to sign it. While I was just standing around after the guitar player signed my shirt, he grabs my little bag of Treaty of Paris stickers and pins out of my hand, sniffs it, then tells me that it smells like egg nog. And I'm all, okay? Then later on, I told Mike that he said that, and he asked if he could see for himself, but he disagrees. I tried then, and yeah, they really don't smell like egg nog. I don't know what that guy was thinking. Later on, we got the White Tie Affair gutarist (same one) to sign a different cd for our friend, and he asked us something along the lines of, like, how much stuff do you want us to sign!? But then he signed it, and kissed the cd. Haha. I can't really remember much else that happened. Well, I do. But I'm too lazy to type it all up. It was fun. The end. But, there is one other part- while me and my friend were waiting in the foyer for our ride home, this guy comes up to us, points to the White Tie Affair cd my friend has in her hand, and is all "You guys suck. I can't believe you bought that. That band is horrible." But we think he was in the band, just being silly to see if'd we'd notice he was making fun of his band. But yeah. Haha. My nose still has the heavy smell of smoke inside of it. Blechhhh.
