(aka We Are Young New England)
Tonight I was part of Transit's video shoot for their song Young New England! The band had made a Facebook event page inviting people from Boston to be a part of the shoot, and although it was a bar crawl, it had some places for underage folks like me to get involved.
I didn't get to the shoot until around 9:30 at one of the locations mentioned, but I was waiting with a group of about 8 other people before the band and film crew arrived. The director kept myself and the few others separate from the large group, called over singer Joe Boynton (pictured with me and my friend here), looked at us and said "you're going to be right in the front...do you know the words?" I only sort of half nodded and Joe looked at me and just told me to fake it and have a good time.
For about an hour or so, I walked through the city in a group of people singing and cheering, and I definitely think I got in some shots! (I ended up hiding behind tall people initially because I got kinda nervous!)
All in all, it was a GREAT night and this is one of the times I'm so glad I live in Boston.
